IZZE SENSORS IN ACTION

THE IMPORTANCE OF GOOD DATA

The Izze-Racing wireless Tire Temperature and Pressure Monitoring System (TTPMS) consists of small, lightweight, wheel-mounted sensors and an equally small receiver with a built in pressure transducer for high-accuracy gauge pressure measurements. The wireless sensor measures the lateral temperature distribution of the inner tire carcass with an ultra-wide 16-channel infrared sensor and pressure with a precision 24-bit pressure transducer, providing invaluable tire information for motorsport and R&D applications.

A tire temperature sensor specifically designed to measure the highly transient surface temperature of a tire with spatial fidelity, providing invaluable information for chassis tuning, tire exploitation, compound selection, and driver development.

The sensor is capable of measuring temperature at 16, 8, or 4 laterally-spaced points, at a sampling frequency of up to 100Hz, object temperature between -20 to 300˚C, using CAN 2.0A protocol, and enclosed in a compact IP66 rated aluminum enclosure. The sensor is available with two field-of-views: ultra-wide (120˚) or wide (60˚).

The IZZE-RACING R&D Tire Temperature and Pressure Monitoring System consists of small, lightweight, wheel-mounted sensor and an equally small receiver with a built-in pressure transducer for high-accuracy gauge pressure measurements.

The pressure sensor is specifically designed to measure Contact Patch Load Variation (CPLV) using a high-speed (1000Hz), high-accuracy, ultra-sensitive (0.1mBar) pressure transducer, thus capable of modal and CPLV analysis on track, where it matters.

The sensor simultaneously measures the lateral temperature distribution of the inner tire carcass with an ultra-wide 16-channel infrared sensor, wheel temperature distribution with up to 8 equally-spaced temperature sensors, and relative humidity, providing invaluable tire data for motorsport and R&D applications.

The Izze-Racing wireless strain gauge amplifier is a small, lightweight, high-speed, low-noise, 24-bit ADC module specifically designed for wireless strain gauge & load cell instrumentation. Applications include axle torque, tire strain, and wheel strain measurement. The amplifier includes a matching receiver.

Using contactless laser triangulation, the Izze-Racing laser ride height sensor is designed to measure ride height with micron-level resolution and sub-millisecond response. These sensors are essential for aerodynamic research, development, and tuning, but are also used for suspension tuning, chassis stiffness analysis, tire deflection, and other contactless measurements.

The sensor can measure ride heights from 30 to 310mm with a micron-level resolution, outputting data at 830Hz using CAN 2.0A protocol, enclosed in a compact IP66-rated aluminium enclosure with a Deutsch autosport connector, and priced as the most affordable motorsport-grade laser ride height sensor.
